Speaking of marketing, the Eagles just signed Anthony "Tiger" Jones (5-11, 190, WR out of Louisville) who is a 30-year old receiver currently on the Philadelphia Soul roster. Jones has been hanging on to his pro football dream since the days he played for coach Bobby Petrino at Louisville. Here's a case where it's just good cross-marketing by both the Soul and the Eagles to give Tiger Jones a shot at the NFL. The Arena Football League gets a jolt of good publicity out of this. Suddenly Tiger Jones becomes a lot of Eagles fans' favorite long shot to make the final roster. Maybe it becomes a Chad Hall vs. Tiger Jones competition? Whatever the case, someone in Andy's office thought Jones is worth a look-see. But it mainly bodes well for the marketing of both the Soul and the Eagles to share their customer lists from time to time. I sense a new spirit of cooperation between the two football franchises. There may be some kind of affiliation brewing. Keep an Eye on that...

You know Phil Nunn as "Kent Phil 67", our terrific Eagles fan from Kent, England who chimes in on a regular basis here. Phil and his family recently dug up some old photos and proceeded to digitize them. Among them were two shots of Phil sporting a vintage '70's style Eagles cap while he strolled around the countryside and the stadiums of his English world.

You are over indulging in Kool Aide. All QBs have issues with dropped passes, not just your homer sweetheart--- Vick. To use such nonsense as a prop for Vick is to be outside the realm of reality. This is a serious fault of Eagle fans on this site--especially. They look for any bazaar reason to manipulate their player's abilities even at the risk of inanity--or make excuses--or over rate them. It amounts to group fantasy instead of reasoning-- so to speak!
Example: after a loss, the silly remarks such as: "if he didn't drop that pass"---" if the official didn't rob us"-- "we got a bad spot"--all blatant homer stupidity.
Yup! All fans of all teams are stupid that way, but the Eagle fans in general, and the posters here specifically , bring that sort of BS to the neurotic level.
Sheesh, Loopy, hire a group therapist, already.
