For Those About to Mach...Eagles Eye salutes you!...
It's the most challenging task for any Eagles fan --- to cipher through all the variables of an upcoming Draft Day and somehow come up with a 10-man list of draftees that might pay off with a win by hitting on at least three picks... That's the brilliance of Brizer's "Mach 10" Challenge...because by inference we as fans learn the dynamic nature of personnel selection in the NFL.

Hitting the lottery would be the mathematical equivalent of correctly picking all 10 players the Eagles will acquire by draft... odds of about 176,000,000 to 1...
The winner gets the Charmin Trophy... (don't worry, JB, your prize is in the mail!)...
For those who have not yet MACH'ed, time is running out... but still 10 days left to enter.
Per suggestion of the lovely Nathalie of France, I will now publish the submissions of the earliest entrants to the MACH 10 Challenge in 2012... if I have inadvertently left anyone's entry out, please let me know in the Comments section...and I will retrieve and add your entry to this blurgger.

Janoris Jenkins visits the Eagles today (Monday, April 16, 2012) at NovaCare Complex... yessss! My MACH 10 is looking like a LOCK!
Cornerback prospect Janoris Jenkins, a projected first-round draft pick this April, has scheduled a visit with the Eagles for this Monday, according to Ralph Vacchiano of The New York Daily News. Ranked among the top defensive backs in the nation during his time at the University of Florida, Jenkins was rumored as a possible supplemental draft target last year after being dismissed from the program, but chose to stay in college to play for North Alabama in 2011. Philadelphia has lined up a number of meetings with soon-to-be rookies, and despite his off-field issues, Jenkins appears to be the latest prospect on the club’s radar.
“Northern Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins said he’s visited with the Rams, the Colts and several other teams. He’ll visit the Eagles on Monday,” said Vacchiano. Philadelphia isn’t believed to have a need at the cornerback position after acquiring both Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie last summer, but there’s a chance the team could be in the market for a developmental reserve, especially with Asomugha and fellow starter Asante Samuel into their 30′s. The Eagles have also met with Trumaine Johnson of Montana, Omar Bolden of Arizona State, and Janzen Jackson of McNeese State, so there appears to be some level of interest in a rookie for the secondary.
Arguably one of the top cover cornerbacks in this year’s draft class, Jenkins is predicted to land in the middle or end of the first round despite a history of off-field concerns. The 5-foot-10, 193-pound prospect has drawn praise for his anticipation and athleticism in the secondary, but has reportedly already scared off some teams because of his character issues. “While there are some character concerns, Jenkins is a natural cover corner who has strong instincts and athletic ability to cover top wideouts,” reads a scouting report by NFL Network. “He looks comfortable with the ball in his hands as a returner and projects to contribute there, as well. If teams can overlook his off-field transgressions, Jenkins has the natural abilities to be a bonafide first-round talent and potentially could be selected in the first 15 picks.”
In related news, the Eagles are also scheduled to hold a workout for Illinois prospect Jeff Allen, per a report from Jeff Dickerson of ESPN Chicago. The 6-foot-4, 307-pound offensive lineman is widely projected as a second- or third-round pick, and could draw interest from Philadelphia in the draft as depth up front. Though reportedly not aggressive with an inconsistent hand usage in the trenches, Allen has received positive reviews for his ability to move down the field and cover ground with his blocking.
The plot thickens...
