Eagles Livefyre Saturday matinee: Draft Rounds 4 through 7...
Written by Thomas Jackson on .
And now for the lightning rounds...
The 2012 Draft wraps up today, April 28th, between 12 noon EST and 5 P.M.... only 5 minutes allowed between picks...
The Eagles now own the Packers' 4th-round pick (#123 overall)...
they also have a 5th-round pick (#153),
two picks in the 6th (#194 and #200),
and one pick in the 7th (#229)...

Now the live commentators take over (see Livefyre below)... I'll join you shortly--- first I must get a caffeine injection...
I like the Polk pick-up, why he no get drafted?? He was a bruiser in college from what i can remember.
@Jerky - Someone at the wall I think said he got some questions about one of his hips.
@AbeLinc64 I heard it was his shoulders but I also just read that his Coach Steve Sarkisian said it's bogus report.
If anyone wants to know why grown ups aren't supposed to do dumb kid shit I just got a really vivid reminder of how come that is.... I got on my 9 yr old daughters bmx style bike and got chasing after one of the little dudes that troll around the hood I stood up to put some ass into the pedals and the frikken piece of shit chain popped off he sprocket and somehow went over the handlebars to crash hard on the pavement. Wrist is jacked, elbow won't bend, and headed in for X-Rays on a saturday night! YAY GO MEEEEEEE...........
@Hu-Dapples! Kids do dat to. Riding downhill on dirt road hit a rock and went arse over teacup over handlebars wound up concussion.
@AbeLinc64 @Hu-Dapples! I'm sure we all have bicycle scars on us. Not to mention how many times we've racked our junk on the crossbar. Stupid design for boy bikes anyway. Hope you heal up though dude!
@AbeLinc64 Everyone clamoring for Polk in the 7th should be happy, Kenny got his boy Cliff Harris. I hope Harris can clean his life up in a big city like Philadelphia because the kid has a some talent
TJack - I turned da page but no new blurgger anywhere. You must still be orkin on it so eyes will let you alone wit your toughts
Before we all start wringing our hands about safety . . . I want Keenan Clayton backing Nate Allen. Problem solved.
This is the best draft, top to bottom, of the Andy Reid era. I like the big linemen because Mudd is gonna turn one of them into a starter before he leaves. I like the QB because he has the big arm and he has time to develop. I definitely could love Bryce because Ted Williams has a good track record, and the mesurables are insane.
Cox, Kendricks, Vinny, Boykins, Mcnutt . . . yeah, this is a good haul. Evergreen hit the lotto.
Bryce Brown 6 FT, 220lbs, 4.37 40 at Kstate proday. speed, strengh, considered by some to be #1 recruit out of high school. Was at Tennessee one yr had 432 rushing yds. Played games at Kstate 16 yds. Thats what I got when I googled him. Nobody is talking about th whys whats and wherefores as to why he quit at two schools.
i like the pick, you gotta like his measurables, good value for a 7th round pick, no risk he be cut if theres a glaring reason he never saw more than 3 carries.
Gotta go for now.
Tom - you run a MEAN draft day(s) - thank you for being you.
Bye all
Wow... that pick is based on pure potential... Bryce Brown... all I remember is he transferred out of Tennessee... to ? --- 20 years old now... with maybe a history of 20 collegiate carries? Bri has more "carry on"'s than this kid has carries!
Well crap not even one on my MACH. I've had a great time these last 3 days watching the draft and enjoying the intoxicating, chaotic ,addictive nature of this here site though.
@Tom Jackson @PPW Hey it's been a blast! I like this site and I seem to be welcome here. Really enjoy your writings as well!
@Palm Feathers @Kenemeka Highly touted coming out of high school....then went a little crazy....check his story out here....

Some talent - got into trouble. Punched a player - suspended.
Something about wakling off the field and quitting at one point.
Sounds like trouble - what's Coach Reid thinking?
