Let's do this thing... Eagles at Redskins LiveFyre Game Blog...

No reason to get excited... we know what needs to happen here...
Starting left tackle Jason Peters is out indefinitely with a hamstring injury he suffered in a loss to the 49ers two weeks ago, and his replacement, 6-foot-9 King Dunlap, missed a second consecutive day of practice Friday because of back spasms. Coach Andy Reid said after practice Friday that if Dunlap's back spasms don't abate by Sunday, Todd Herremans would start against the Redskins at left tackle - where he hasn't played since 2005 - and Sir Winston Justice would make his first start since his surgery at right tackle.
We'll see how this plays out soon enough. "We don't," Herremans said, "have too many other options right now." Reid said if Dunlap is unable to play, and either Herremans or Justice get hurt during the game, left guard Evan Mathis would move to right tackle, and Jamaal Jackson would likely move in at left guard.
Other player notes of interest (The USA Today version):
GAME PLAN: The Eagles have thrown a total of 86 passes in the last two games, while their No. 1 running back, LeSean McCoy, has run it just 20 times. They are expected to strive for a little more balance Sunday against the Redskins, though the Eagles historically haven't had a lot of success running the ball against 3-4 fronts.
MATCHUPS TO WATCH: Eagles offensive tackles vs. Redskins OLBs Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan. Herremans should be able to handle rookie Kerrigan, but Dunlap, if he's healthy enough to play, is possibly going to be overmatched against Orakpo on the other side...
Eagles MLB Jamar Chaney vs. Redskins RBs Ryan Torain and Tim Hightower. Chaney's difficulty in getting off blocks has been a real problem for the Eagles as far as stopping the run.

IND 17 - CIN 24
SF 23 - DET 27
STL 13 - GB 42
BUF 17 - NYG 24
JAC 13 - PIT 27
PHI 33 - WAS 24
HOU 21 - BAL 24
CLE 20 - OAK 27
DAL 27 - NE 36
NO 33 - TB 24
MIN 24 - CHI 20
MIA 13 - NYJ 24
This week looks pretty straight forward, so I had to take a couple chances with upsets I liked... Minnesota and unfortunately the NYG...
The Nut Chokers won again! And that was wif half my team on bye.
How'd the Eagles do? I was wartching Miss Venezuela on Univision.
You know, I still have some slight concerns about our D. In the 4th quarter it seemed like our guys had started to run out of gas but we smartly and effectively ran the time off the clock on Offense and didn't have to put our D back on the field.
@Demappulls! I think the D was stellar. That 4th down throw was desperation. Basically shut down the redskins. Another thing is that we put a few big hits on them.......people said we were soft
@Kenemeka @Demappulls! Redskins offense is pretty inept, but we did a nice job proving it like we should have... time to get healed up and bust the Cowpukes... with better football...
Well Spiffer we had them down to their last 5 eligible lineman on the field I think. But yeah maybe I am being a little harsh.
I agree wit Leos line of reasoning. The skins offense was pretty atrocious. Our defense took advantage of that like a good defense should. There were still some holes that need to be plugged. Really hope Cole makes it back after the bye. We struggled to get much pressure even when we blitzed.
After the 9ers totally dismantled the Bucs last week they are puttin it on the Saints pretty good so far.
@Demappulls! yes I am. Wifey has to get back from work first. I just need to be there by 7am, only a two hour drive but I stay there for a week
For the mish mash O Line we had in there today I think they did pretty damn good. Decent anyway. D Line couldn't get much pressure at all on their qb when we are missing T. Cole.
iffen I cut my entire fancy foosball team... nobody would pick up the players... they suk! - no heart!
Actually David Calvo has only 9 points so far today... LOL 9 freakin points so far. OUCH!
oh the slow motion is priceless... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CrPHzuZsfo&feature=player_embedded
The linesman is blind... wth was he looking at? ... where is Trump? - somebody needs firing!!
@Kenemeka @Harry Pianos shouldn't need to waste a challenge for that... its a TD scenario... why not let the booth review it automatically... just cuz the ref is too blind to see 5 feet in front of him? and call TD first?
Incredible roughing the passer call Brady just got from the refs. Anyone who says Vick is whining ought to look at that
You guys see Shwartz get all up in harbaughs junk after the game... Too funny...
Good night all!!!!!! Eagles win in England and the States this weekend ........... Result!!!!!
